Bio:

Sylvain ORDUREAU is the founder of UsefulProgress. His company develops new software and hardware strategies for scanning, analysing, handling and storing display high-definition 3D Relief. Sylvain’s path both academically and professionally helped to develop skills in four key areas, scientific research, computing, communication and finance. A major problem in these different disciplines for the production of models that test scientific hypotheses whether living or inert matter. With his professional experience as a technical director partner in a communication group, he has acquired control of the management and financing of projects primarily in the service of outside companies and since February 2003 in his own company UsefulProgress. The research laboratory of the company is based in the University Paris Descartes. In September 2007, in collaboration with him, the Unit of Anatomy at the University, created a Unit for Research in Development, Imaging and Anatomy (URDIA) who works in the teaching of anatomy with new media. The company benefits from the proximity of INSERM and CNRS research laboratories and also from researchers from the Institut Pasteur. The applications developed by UsefulProgress affect sectors as diverse as medical, pharmaceutical, industrial, mining (diamonds), archeology, higher education. Collaboration with hospital radiology centers (CCML, CH Evry / baskets) allows UsefulProgress to evolve its software and hardware solutions through access to clinical expertise, the CT scan / MRI of last generation and documented clinical cases. The partnership with American company NVIDIA assures UsefulProgress a significant technological advance in terms of computing power and performance for their hardware. Working with teams from Grenoble Synchrotron (ESRF) adds various new applications in biomedical research. Since January 2010, UsefulProgress Canada Inc.. was created in Montreal. In June 2010, China will be launched UsefulProgress and confirm the willingness of Sylvain Ordureau to conquer new international markets
